Dear reader,
The first thing i want you to know is that Jesus died on the cross for YOUR sin. Once Jesus shed His life our sins were instantly washed away we started over with a clean slate. God sent down His only son to sacrifice Himself for the sins of our fore fathers, therefore our sins were all washed away.(John 3:16 [NIV] For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life) don't get me wrong we are all going to sin, and we are all going to stumble and fall some times but what separates us from true believers and "Sunday believers" is repentance. its knowing that you messed up, feeling the guilt, praying, and asking God to forgive us for our sins. just remember that God loves us relentlessly, and wants nothing more then to have us His children, sit at the foot of His throw. in times of weakness remember this "1 Corinthians 10:13 [the message] No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it." that verse is my favorite simply because it lets me know that when im having a rough time, when i feel ready to just give up and just quit that I'm not the only one that feels this way. i know that once i get past this hurdle my life relationship with the Father will grow and ill be ready to keep going. like i always say "life may close a door but God cracks a window and its up to YOU to seek it out!"
"Lord, please be with the readers of this devotional. lift them up when they feel broken down, let them know that they are not alone, show them the power of your Son Jesus Christ!
